The Corporation “Science Park Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv” is the leading university-linked science park in Ukraine, in particular Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – one of the country’s top research institutions. Corporation “Science Park Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv” has multiple founders – all public academic institutions: Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (primary founder), National University of Food Technologies, Palladin Institute of Biochemistry NASU, Institute of Organic Chemistry NASU, Frantsevich Institute for Problems of Materials Science NASU. The Corporation operates as a separate legal entity with its own governing bodies, but under joint oversight of the founders. Ownership is fully held by these public academic entities – no private shareholders. It functions under the Law of Ukraine “On Science Parks” No. 1563-VI (2009), its Charter and Founding Agreement. Core of the Corporation activities include incubation and acceleration of high-tech startups, technology transfer from academia to market (with emphasis on dual-use technologies adapted for civilian innovation), knowledge commercialisation, and building resilient innovation ecosystems. Strategic objectives of the Corporation are to stimulate innovative entrepreneurship, foster international collaboration, and integrate Ukrainian research and startups into European value chains – all while maintaining operational continuity and adaptive capacity under prolonged wartime conditions. Despite the ongoing geopolitical conflict, we continue to support active startups, run mentorship programs, organise innovation challenges for facilitate cross-border partnerships. Key competencies include: proven expertise in wartime-resilient science park management; strong academic-industry linkages; experience in EU-aligned project implementation; and a track record of successful international cooperation. Our organisation is uniquely positioned to spearhead the needs assessment, pilot technology transfer models, and capacity building for EU integration – turning wartime challenges into a proven source of resilience and tangible added value for Swedish-Ukrainian-European innovation partnerships.
